Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation
Led collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams at CORE to evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. Applied process mapping, deliverable analysis, and stakeholder input to implement targeted strategies that enhanced product development efficiency. Outcomes informed a redesign of team workflows and supported more effective resource management across services and products delivered under government contracts.

Digital Experience Optimization

Yale Medicine
Collaborated with Yale Medicine’s Pulmonary and Cardiology departments to assess early challenges and opportunities in telehealth care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Applied a human-centered design approach to map key provider-patient interactions and prioritize issues based on emotional and financial impact. This led to the creation of online libraries and training resources to support more effective and empathetic virtual consultations.

Corporate Strategic Program Planning

Nemours Children’s Health
Partnered with senior executives and physicians at Nemours Children’s Health to develop a strategy for engaging internal leaders in key corporate initiatives. Conducted stakeholder interviews and targeted field research to create decision-making frameworks, evaluation tools, management models, and branding for the hospital’s signature luminary programs. Delivered an implementation playbook to guide leadership teams in launching and sustaining these programs system-wide.

Process Audit and Analysis

Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital
Collaborated with physicians and nurses to assess and improve the experience of families with infants in the NICU. Through family-reported feedback, journey mapping, field studies, and detailed process analysis, high-impact opportunities to enhance the family experience were identified. A primary suggestion focused on optimizing the discharge process by improving the timing of supporting documentation and communication, contributing to a more family-centered approach.

Workplace Environment Design

Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation
Supported CORE’s operations team in planning and designing a new office space for a multidisciplinary workforce of health researchers, analysts, and administrators. Collaborated with hospital facilities and interior design vendors to define the floorplan, experience flow, and aesthetic direction. Led the selection of interior finishes and furnishings. The final design created a modern, flexible workplace that enhances employee productivity and well-being.

Clinical Decision Tool Prototyping

Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale
Led the development and instruction of the Yale undergraduate course Design to Empower: Re-Imagining Medical Decision Tools. The course introduced human-centered design principles through hands-on activities and collaborative workshops. Students applied design thinking methodologies to analyze and redesign the Statin Choice Decision Aid, creating basic prototypes to address key user experience challenges identified during the course.

Organizational Team Structure Redesign

Partnered with CORE leadership to redesign the team structure supporting quality measurement contracts. A data-driven approach assessed the limitations of the previous structure, considering leadership levels, budget constraints, and contract requirements. The reorganization aligned teams under unified processes and services within new divisions, boosting operational efficiency and strengthening subject matter expertise across contract areas.

Mindfulness Product Development

Hasu Flower
Collaborated with the founder of Hasu Flower to design a mindfulness product that makes practices more intuitive. Through user research and market analysis, key barriers to mindfulness were identified, leading to the creation of a meditation mint using 3D printing for a tactile, mouthfeel-based experience. The product was incorporated into the ZenRoom Toolkit and distributed across Connecticut schools to support student mindfulness and mental health

Brand Strategy and Positioning

Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation
Led the development of CORE's strategy and market positioning to strengthen its role as a leading quality measurement contractor for the government. Through environmental research, stakeholder workshops, and iterative exploration, the strategy evolved to better align with customer needs and differentiate CORE from competitors. This approach enhanced internal and external communications and contributed to the successful recompete of CORE’s government contracts.

Business Design Curriculum

Gendron Design
Designed and taught a university-level course on applying design principles in business. The course equipped students with tools to tackle complex challenges through a designer's lens, emphasizing human-centered, efficient, and innovative solutions. Through lectures, case studies, hands-on activities, and group discussions, students gained a solid foundation in how design informs strategic leadership and problem-solving in business.
